Democracy in action

"Democracy in Action” is a 30 second animated promo video, created for the European Parliament representation office in Cyprus. The aim of this film was to raise awareness for the positive impact that derives from the country’s European Union membership, by highlighting the 10 most important achievements of the last few years that directly affect the citizens of the European Union.

The animation consists of different illustrations that symbolize the top ten achievements and how these affect the lives of its citizens. The mixed media design approach combines 2D illustrations, characters and photographs. This contemporary design approach uses bold and vibrant colours that compliments our intention to create a modern look full of positive vibes and one that can appeal to a wide audience.
